Account information

We use your email address and account credentials to create your account, sign you in, verify your email and help you reset your password. Your profile can include a display name, currency preference and style preferences. Account services and saved data are hosted through Lovable Cloud.

Your wardrobe, images and fit details

We store the wardrobe photos you upload and the details you provide about each item, such as category, colour, brand, price, season and occasion. We also save outfits, wear history, feedback, purchase considerations and recreated looks so the app can learn what works for you.

If you add style inspiration, we store those images and the style attributes extracted from them. My Fit lets you optionally save sizes, measurements, height, weight and a body photo. These details are not required to use your wardrobe. Body photos use private storage and time-limited links for display. Fit measurements and body photos are not included in our product analytics events.

Some wardrobe photo cleanup runs on your device. Original and processed wardrobe images may both be saved to your account.

AI styling and analysis

AI processing is part of features such as recognising clothing attributes, analysing inspiration and matching looks. Relevant uploaded images are sent for image-analysis requests. Styling requests can include wardrobe attributes, valid outfit options, occasion, weather context, style preferences and feedback summaries.

These requests use Lovable’s AI gateway and Google Gemini. These services process the information needed to return an analysis or styling result. We do not claim that information stays only on your device or that it is never shared with service providers. The app does not currently send your optional My Fit body photo to these AI features.

Optional location and weather

Location is optional and used for weather-based recommendations. You can allow device location, choose a city manually or leave weather off. Dress Me works without location permission.

When you enable device location, coordinates are used to request weather from Open-Meteo and may be sent to BigDataCloud to find a place name. City searches use Open-Meteo’s geocoding service. These requests go directly from your browser to the service, which also receives normal connection information such as your IP address. Your weather preference and selected city or coordinates may be stored locally on your device. Precise location is excluded from our custom analytics events.

Analytics and technical information

Outfit Pending uses PostHog product analytics when configured, including page views and events such as starting signup, adding clothes, generating or rating outfits and viewing insights. Signed-in activity is linked to an account ID, rather than an email address. Analytics can also include browser, device and connection information collected by the service.

Our custom event properties are restricted to approved categories and counts. They exclude uploaded photos, names, emails, free-text entries and precise location. Automatic click capture is disabled. Session recording is off by default; the code supports enabling masked recordings through configuration. Inputs are masked and images blocked in that configuration.

The app also reports technical errors to Lovable to help diagnose failures. Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information in an error report or support request.

Local storage and cookies

Your browser stores sign-in session information, weather choices, style preferences and learning history so they remain available between visits. PostHog uses local storage and cookies for analytics identifiers. Clearing site data removes local preferences and may sign you out; it does not delete information saved to your account.

Deletion and retention

You can delete your account from Me → Delete account. After you confirm, the app removes your account, profile, wardrobe records, outfits, wear history, feedback, saved purchase considerations, inspiration, recreated looks, fit profile and uploaded files in the wardrobe, inspiration and body-photo storage areas. It also clears the app’s local personal-data caches on the device used for deletion and signs you out.

Account deletion does not promise to erase data already held in third-party analytics or operational logs, or browser data on other devices. The current app does not define a fixed retention period for those records or provider backups. Saved account content remains until you remove it or delete your account.

Security and service providers

The app uses HTTPS, authenticated account access and account-scoped database permissions. Body-photo access uses temporary signed links. Service providers are needed for hosting, account services, storage, AI, weather and analytics. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid uploading images or information you do not want processed for these purposes.

Your choices, rights and contact

You can edit your account content, choose whether to upload inspiration or fit information, decline location access and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to certain processing.
